Just Doesn't Feel High Quality
Loved the look of this bag on the website and wanted it as a slightly less flashy alternative to a leather brown tote I have, but it's just rather structureless and cheap feeling. I love this brand and am very disappointed for the price. The leather strips that run down the sides and along the bottom being stitched down the middle as opposed to along the sides is stylistically interesting, but it just adds to the overall cheaper look of the bag compared to other Kate Spade bags.
Maybe some of the more playful colors would work well in this style, but the brown needs a bit more structure to keep it from sinking hopelessly into a more generic feeling boho bag. No closure on that outer pocket, the main zipper doesn't fully contain everything/extend to the edges of the bag.
Fine for a school or diaper/all purpose bag though if that's what you need! Will fit a 14" laptop but won't zip if it's in there.
