Dumpling Suede Large Satchel Bag

I so wanted to fall in love with my new raspberry jam bag. I already own a blue dumpling and love it but the colour of this jam purse is dull and not vibrant as the picture shows. Quite a disappointment.

Nice bag, but the colour seems washed out to me--not nearly as vibrant as pictured on the website. I will keep it because the colour is ok, just not as spectacular as in previous years when I bought a burgundy bag which has long worn out. However tjw organization of this bag is terrific, and that is why I buy Kate Spade, I ❤️ all those pockets and zipped sections. Quite useful just wish the Jam colour met my expectations. The other pieces come tomorrow or Thursday. Hoping the wallet is gorgeous.

This is my second Large Dumpling bag. It’s such a cute-looking bag and I can get a lot in it—all my usual stuff plus even a lightweight sweatshirt that I stuffed into one of the outer slip pockets. The red jam color is pretty, a little bit more muted than it looks in the pictures but I was expecting that because I already have the red jam regular leather version. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the design has been changed slightly and now there is no outer slip pocket on the back side of the bag anymore. Also, there’s no magnetic snap closure on the remaining front outermost slip pocket. My regular leather one has the back outermost slip pocket, so the pockets are completely symmetrical on the front and back, plus it has magnetic snap closures on both innermost and outermost slip pockets. I took pictures of both bags to show the difference. This latest version seems to have been redesigned, perhaps to cut manufacturing costs. From the current photos of the other regular-leather Large Dumplings it seems like none of the bags have that back outermost slip pocket anymore, but I’m not sure. That might make me think twice about buying any more Dumplings in the future unfortunately, because it bothers me that the bag design isn’t symmetrical front to back and is missing those magnetic snap closures, so there’s less security. Still, it’s a really cute bag that I do recommend if the pocket thing doesn’t bother you.

It's not a raspberry color. It's a dull color. Im looking into dying it. It's a shame. The leather part is beautiful
