Overall extremely disappointed in this dress. It's heavy (the weight of it), the braided edge on the neckline and shoulders is thick and stiff and may be difficult to remove you were to have it altered. The neckline comes quite high and it's smaller on the bottom part of the dress compared to the top proportions. It runs extremely narrow in the hips. I ordered according to the size chart and was somewhat between sizes so ordered the larger size. The bottom half is too small and the top is much too big. If it were sitting properly on my hips, it would also need hemmed. Since it has buttons that would be a challenge also as a decent amount needs taken off (I'm 5'5"). The colors are bright and the plaid lines up perfectly at every seam. Well made in that sense. Also has a lining.
