454 Suede Large Shoulder Bag

I've bought this bag in 3 colors at this point. I love each of them and both the suede and pebbled leather textures are beautiful. I picked it up for the first time in a really pretty dove grey color. It's suede and has silver hardware. If you're a silver girly, you know how hard it is to find purses with silver hardware that doesn't look too chrome. With the grey, I had some transfer from my jeans onto the suede but I didn't mind it. The nature of suede bags is that they patina and show use over time. If you don't care for this so much, I would go with either a darker suede color or a pebbled leather option. I was also able to treat the suede with a water proofer without it looking spotty or ruining the nap, that helped a lot with transfer of dyes and spotting from wet weather. I picked this up in the black pebbled leather and beet suede since then. The shape is classic and doesn't make you look bulky. There's something about the slouchy-ness coupled with the seams and hardware that makes it fit with everything. The single strap makes it easy to adjust if you're taller or in a bulkier coat that day. I can sling this thing on my shoulder and it stays out of the way too. I tote this thing to work, on weekend outings, to my daughters dance competitions, traveling for personal or for work, whatever. It always looks polished without being over or under done and fits so much without getting too heavy (like a certain other designer bag one might say could never be full). I can keep my 12 inch tablet, book, phone, keys, medium size wallet, touch up makeup (like lipstick and powder), and few just in case things in a toiletry pouch (tweezers, tampons, band aids, super glue, nail clippers, etc.). All of that and still room if I need to tuck a snack or toy in for my daughter, a planner, notebook, or whatever else for work. This one really is one you can load down without it getting too bulky or looking silly. If you love a classic shape and a workhorse bag you don't have to swap out for every occasion, she's your girl!
