The glitter makes this bag a little rough. However, it does not stick to sweaters or other soft materials. Dirt comes off surprising easily as well. I always get lots of compliments when the light hits the sparkles

Love the sparkle of this tote!
I gifted this to my mother for Christmas. She is a lover of all things sparkly! She lives about 300 miles away, so she opened the gift over the phone, so I could hear her reaction. I've never heard her scream of such happiness like that before! She ABSOLUTELY loves it. She also said, that the sparkles are not rough and do not flake off everywhere like others have mentioned in other posts. So perhaps, she was lucky or possibly they have changed the way they make the totes now?!
